These are several animations for my animation 'gadgets',
these gadgets are only done in black and white, only using a black mirror texture
and a white mirror texture.
And the animation and these test .MPGs are all being done in POV-RAY.
MediaStudio from ULead was used to convert these sequences of images to an AVI,
which was then used to produce the final video of 'Gadgets'. Media Studio came
with my Matrox 'Mystique' and Rainbow Runner Studio cards.
These videos were then converted to MPGs with ULead's MPEG converter.
The first is 'gadgets.mpg' and the second is 'intro.mpg'.
The first is the final rotation produced from POV-RAY, and the second video
was edited in Media Studio to give Gadgets an introduction and credit, the first is
30 seconds, and 30 seconds of introductions and credits, gives intro.mpg a
whopping 1 minute length. These are both 24 frames a second videos.
Designed as a 320x240 video so that the animations could be played full screen
at this resolution, I got a VCR collecting dust here anyways. I'm hoping these
MPEGs can be uploaded to my site and anyone would be able to download
'Gadgets'.
'Gadgets.mpg' is 4Mbytes file, way down from the 14.1Mbyte file size of'
'Gadgets.avi'! That's better than 3 to one compression.. That's saying convert
those AVIs to MPGs and get 2/3s of your drives back..

A character, lonely and isolated,
the imagination of the artist turns into a world like an island,
the characters are planted like the palms on a central character,
which stands on a sea of glass.
